African Tribal Art - Bedouin gun, Gafsa, Tunisia

A double barreled shotgun from Gafsa, Tunisia. This rustic hand-made gun was cobbled together from a variety of materials: old wood, aluminum, leather, steel and brass. The hammers cock and the triggers work - you can just see this being whipped out of a bandits belt and fired at someone from a rearing horse. Early to mid-20th century.  #3133  $350
