African Tribal Art - Gourd smoking pipe

This is a graceful smoking gourd from Tanzania, probably the Gogo tribe, standing 9.5" high. Copper metal wire intricately lashes the wood spout that would have held a small terracotta bowl, now missing. Please see other views below. Early 20th century. #1982 $350
