A large non-figurative vessel from the Mangbetu, comprised of six lobes joined to a central vertical cylinder having an impressed crosshatch texture and incised designs on the lobes. No repairs or damage; remnants of a milky fluid, but it has no smell. Ex. private collection, Northern California.
