A colorful four-cornered hat from the Huari culture of the Highlands of Peru. Made of camelid wool yarns and natural dyes, it has a mesh screen on the top to contain the fragile wool and is mounted over a cardboard form. It measures 5” square and stands 3.5” high.  A.D. 700-1000.  #4053
