Professionally restored and mounted
Six colorful cormorants or ducks fly westward in this narrow textile fragment in an alternating rightside up and upside down orientation. These seabirds were often depicted in textiles from this area, as a very similar fragment can be seen below in Vanessa Drake Moraga's beautiful book, Animal Myth and Magic, 2005, Ololo Press, California, p.145.
