Earthenware dish on a low pedestal foot; the dish face is painted black, red and purple on a cream ground, each half of the bisected design depicting the mirrored image of a stylized bat. Some restoration. Ref: Guardians of the Stream, A.J. Labbe, U. of Washington Press, 1995, #62, pg. 57.
