Early to mid-20th century
A very special child's vest from the Kohistan area of Pakistan. It is finely embroidered and extravagantly decorated with beads, buttons, and silver ornaments. There is a charming whistle on the front, and a beaded talisman called doga on the other side. The back is adorned with a special resin cube with five miniature bottles inside.
