Asian Tribal Art - Lakhe mask, Kathmandu Valley, Nepal


    A powerful mask of the demon Lakhe from the Kathmandu Valley, Napal. Splattered with blood-like red paint from her mock battles with Shiva during the Indra Jatra festival, this mask has a mirror in its forehead, attached ears and fangs, and is 9.5" in height.
