A charming rooster made from the root of a bamboo, this is said to come from the Rai people of Terai, Nepal. He stands 8" high and is engaging from all angles - please see back view below. His tail has a shiny patina, perhaps from repeated handling. His function is a bit of a mystery. Early to mid-20th century. #1931 $425 |
