This butter churn handle or ghurra (also neti) from is from the Jumla of West Nepal. A praying figure sits in front of a milk jug in a building structure; often parts of these building are broken. It has an encrusted patina, much wear from use and measures 9” high. 19th to early 20th century. #3070  SOLD
