This rare protective talisman is from Burma and is carved from a small chunk of jet. A janus-faced grinning gremlin, it has a hole that runs through the top of the head so that is can be worn on the body. One ogre grips weapons in both hands, while the other holds something magical under his chin. It measures 1.5” high and is 19th century or earlier.  #3068  SOLD
