This wonderful tie-dyed wool shawl is from Ladakh, Tibet. It was worn by women folded over, as shown in the photograph, draped around their shoulders and tied in the front. It has a very soft hand and measures 33” wide by 35” long, fringe included. Early 20th century. #1646  $900
