Steve Tobin (b. 1957) is an American sculptor who works primarily in bronze, steel, clay and glass. This whimsical cast bronze shoe with onions is from a series of 100 that he cast containing various vegetables, fruit and other food stuffs. It measures approximately 12 inches long, 7 inches high and is heavy, weighing in at 17 pounds. The shoe is a size 6.5 and it bears his signature on the sole.
