Each link is 8" (20.3 cm) long with overall length of 19" (48.2 cm)

Ex. Thomas and Audrey Metzger Odd Fellows Collection

Three carved wood chain links, which have been gilded. They were collected from an Odd Fellows lodge in Michigan and symbolize the fellowship's motto of Amicitia, Amor et Veritas or "Friendship, Love and Truth." Photo below is an old image of the three linked chain above the Eye of Providence, symbols of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, which began in Manchester, England, 26 April 1819.
