Ex. Thomas and Audrey Metzger Odd Fellows Collection

These three chain links are unusually large and are carved from one piece of ash, stained brown. They were collected from an Odd Fellows lodge in Indiana and symbolize the fellowship's motto of Amicitia, Amor et Veritas or "Friendship, Love and Truth." Photo below is an old image of the three linked chain above the Eye of Providence, symbols of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, which began in Manchester, England, 26 April 1819.
