Rare prohibition era doll

During Prohibition, moonshine was transported in a variety of clever, secretive ways for personal consumption. Making a cavity in the body of a doll was one option, as in this large example. The cap on the belly button can be unscrewed, and the hootch funnelled into the copper lined container. When the right leg is raised, a key to a spigot between the legs is turned, which releases the liquid inside - see photos of the mechanism below. This dolll would have had clothing; hard to determine from the remains whether it was male or female.
