This wool baknough is from the village of Chenini, Tunisia. It has a glorious cochineal-colored field with intricate woven cream and black cotton designs. It has some considerable damage on the fringe edges, two 3" rips on the selvage edge, and a couple of holes in the field. It's a very special piece with damage that could be repaired by a professional. It measures 78" (178 cm) long by 38" wide.  TT125   $4000
