This finely woven green Tunisian kitfeya was worn around the shoulders of women in times past to prevent the oil on their hair from staining their clothing. It has cream and black cotton woven designs and spots of tie-dyed henna throughout. There is a little loose selvedge at the middle of the bottom in the photo above. It measures 30" long (without fringe) and 15" wide.  TT53 ~ $350
