A restrained and elegant wood spoon from the Kulango people of the Ivory Coast. This S-shaped spoon shows nuanced carving with an indention in the middle segment that just echoes the small protrusion at the top of the bowl, with simple carved bands containing this detail, unfortunately barely visible in the photos.
