African Tribal Art - Wood doll, Zaramo, Tanzania


A fertility doll from the Zaramo people of Tanzania. These were used by female initiates during coming out ceremonies. This one measures 6.5" in height and has a thick necklace of colorful glass beads. Early to mid 20th century. Ex James Willis.  #9038  SOLD
