A "No Face Doll" by the artist Emma Amiotte, a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, part of the Oglala Lakota Nation, who lives on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in S. Dakota.
A cape of three tiers of dentalium shells is sown onto a black wool dress bordered in red and green wool. She wears a hide belt with round metal disks.
Very good condition; one dentalium shell is missing in the first row.
