Ambika is a Jain yakshini who holds one child on her lap while another stands by her side. At the top of her head sits a Jina of the Jain faith, and the four rectangular holes likely held ruby or metal inlays. The inscription includes a date that looks like 1382 Samvat or 1325 CE, but this is not certain, hence the 17th century attribution.
