This colorful beaded pectoral is from the Naga culture of Northeast
India. Chunky wound glass orange beads are strung on a form which is
backed by finely woven cotton. Eleven bronze head-shaped bells hang from
the lower edge while two mithran flank a trio of rectangular bronze
heads. The tie ends are long lost but its bold punch prevails. It
measures 8" wide and high. Early to mid 20th century. #7202
