This beautifully carved human bone
ornament is from Tibet. As a segment of a large bone apron that was worn
by tantric necromancers to drive away evil spirits at important ceremonies, its
symbolic purpose was as a reminder of the transience of life. See an

below.
Measuring 4.5”
