A guardian figure with a round flat face and minimally carved features, in the typical crouching posture with joined hands. It is covered with a heavily encrusted white pigment overall.
Accompanying the figure to its new home will be a like-new copy of the 2009 book by Bertand Goy and Max Itsikovitz, Wood Sculpture in Nepal: Jokers and Talismans.
