A large spinning temple gong called "kyi-zi" made of cast bronze in the graceful shape of a Burmese temple.
It measures 11.75 by 8 by .5 inch, with the two tips and the topmost part flaring slightly thicker than the body. There is an incised inscription on the verso, which is possibly a dedication or a prayer. Nice patina with evidence of wear at the hole; remnants of paint on verso. Has a deep resonant tone when struck with wood.
