A wood milk jug with a wonderful ram’s head and tail from Afghanistan.
It has a native repair near the handle – please see the photo below.
Carved in one piece of dense hardwood, it exhibits great patina from
decades of use, has a faint scent of sweet milk, and measures 17” from
head to tail and is 6” high. Late 19th to early 20th century or earlier.
