The handspun cotton threads for this huipil are woven in two long panels stitched together in brightly colored cotton or silk with fine warp stripes in ixcaco (naturally brown cotton) between thicker stripes of various colors. The arm holes and square neck opening are chainstitched in green silk, and silk is used for the colorful floral embroidery. In fine condition.
