Published in The Art of the Lesser Sundas by Anthony F. Granucci, p. 192. Here is his description: "The handle of this small spoon is in the shape of a parrot or cockatoo. In front of the bird is a small figure of a human being. The overall impression is that the bird is protexcting the human. Perhaps this is an image of a soul bird, which helps carry the sould of the dead into the afterlife."
