This is a rare Tahitian shell crown from the collection of Tom Mix, silent cowboy film star of the 1920s. Made of hundreds of very tiny shells sewn onto a round fiber core, it measures 8.5” in diameter. There is one section about 1” wide that was recently restored – please see photo.  #2279  SOLD
